Who we are

Welcome to the Waystation Café.

This is a place to sit, refuel, and remember what matters. We practice deep thinking through books, contemplation, and conversation, because change doesn’t arrive fully formed—it emerges through right relationship, attention, care, and time.

Blending evidence, intuition, and imagination to help us live well, and justly, in turbulent times. It’s note taking and slow breathing, where ideas are germinated and shared.

Not a final destination, but existing between where you’ve been and where you’re going. Offering refuge, orientation, and renewal, for a long journey.

At our heart, a continuance, a pause not to stop, but to go on more wisely.

We honor the long self: the understanding that who we are stretches across past, present, and future. What we tend to, carries on.

Books. Conversation. Contemplation. Care. COVID Conscious.

Pull up a chair. The road is long.

XOXO + Solidarity,

Lori

I have a complex medical history and identity. While being chronically ill since birth, I also straddle into the space of fitness and nutrition coaching. I have taught/facilitated exercise, nutrition, classical Yoga, and meditation for over 30+ years. I am white presenting, and also an enrolled Assiniboine and Sioux Tribal associate member. My maternal grandparents were residential school survivors.
